Our shop was born from a magical swirling of my love for cooking, my horribly sensitive skin, Jeff's amazing design talents, and our shared idea that everything should be as pure and fresh as the food we get from our local farmer's market.

I was tired of buying "Natural" products from stores that had crazy ingredients that they claimed were natural because at some point in time before all their crazy processing and isolating steps it came from a plant. I was always taught that fresh is best and I firmly believe people should be holding their topical products to a higher standard, after all your skin is your body's largest organ.

I knew that I could design recipes that would make it easy to switch.

So i began tearing apart products, studying their basic building blocks, and then formulating my own versions that were chemical-free, preservative-free, vegan and truly all-natural. There isn't a single ingredient in any of our products that you can't say, most of them are sitting in your kitchen now. I use the finest in organic herbs, cold process oils and unrefined butters that I source only from trusted and USDA certified companies. And best of all, I keep them all in a format that's familiar to the products you normally use. No powdered toothpastes or spray on deodorants here.

Next step... Jeff made it all look pretty. Don't make light of this, making things look appealing is a whole lot harder than I ever though. Plus, he even custom prints, cuts and labels every product we sell... not to mention he's the first step in our research and development pipeline. And there you have it!

So why try our products?

I feel that people will recognize our high standards and our passion for what we make and once they try our alternatives they won't go back, it's like switching from super processed chain grocery store milk to locally supplied fresh whole milk, you know, with a little bit of the cream still inside... yeah... why would anyone go back from that?
